About the Role
Cimas Van Praagh Radiology seeks a Billing Clerk to accurately bill and process claims for radiology services, maximising revenue collection and maintaining compliance.
Responsibilities
- Generate accurate patient bills for all radiology procedures; capture and submit claims to medical-aid societies within prescribed timelines; track claim submission and payment status.
- Prepare invoices for corporate clients and referred patients; investigate and resolve rejected, delayed, underpaid or disputed claims; correct billing errors and resubmit.
- Verify patient demographic and medical-aid details before billing; reconcile daily billing transactions; match payments against invoices and claims; assist with debt collection; maintain revenue records and generate billing reports.

Requirements
- Diploma in an Accounting professional course or equivalent.
- At least two years' practical experience in Radiology.
- Clear verbal and written communication; accurate reporting; strong problem-solving.
