Class 2 Drivers (x2)

Duty Station: Zaka Rural District Council, Jerera | Grade: 5

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Minimum of 5 "O" Levels including English.
• Aged between 30-45.
• Valid class 2 driver's license and defensive license.
• Minimum 2 years accident-free driving.
• Local Government and authority experience an added advantage.
• Police clearance is a MUST.
• Knowledge of maintenance and road safety regulations.
• Knowledge of operating road equipment/grader, TLB, Tipper an added advantage.
• Ability to ride a motorbike an added advantage.
• Provide own accommodation.

Job Description:

• Driving council vehicles (transport goods, staff, equipment).
• Routine vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Maintaining vehicle log books and mileage records.
• Ensuring roadworthiness (VID regulations).
• Performing minor running repairs.
• Assist in operating road equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
