About the Role
Internal vacancy notice. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill this position, based in Harare and reporting to the Finance Operations Manager.
The job holder will be responsible for analysing operational, production and overhead costs, monitoring and implementing cost controls, and providing financial insights to support efficient decision making and cost management.
Key Duties:
- Analyse and apportion operational and overhead costs using modern costing methodologies
- Track and report monthly, quarterly, and annual departmental and production expenses
- Conduct spend analysis and identify cost leakages
- Prepare costing sheets and benchmark costs to recommend improvements
- Perform variance analysis (standard vs actual costs)
- Monitor capital expenditure
- Support inventory tracking, valuation, and reconciliation
- Assist departments in budgeting and forecasting including variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS standards and company policies
- Conduct cost benefit analysis and financial appraisal of projects

Requirements
Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
Possession of or studying towards a professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a costing or finance role.
