Deputy Director — Non-Formal Education

About the Role
Reports to the Director, Non-Formal Education.
Role: Participate in formulating and reviewing secondary-education policies in line with the Ministry's mandate and national aspirations; monitor policy implementation; recommend research to improve secondary-education quality; coordinate curriculum implementation; oversee equitable allocation of Lower Sixth places to O-Level graduates; manage the link between the Ministry and Guest Teacher Programme countries; and coordinate school registration and maintain a database of registered secondary schools.

Requirements
- Degree in Education or equivalent (a master's degree an added advantage).
- At least six (6) years at Education Research Officer grade, or two (2) years at School Head or equivalent grade.
- Familiarity with the Education Act and education policies.
- Well-developed communication, analytical, management and supervisory skills; able to work under minimum supervision.
