Director — Gender Mainstreaming, Inclusivity and Wellness

About the Role
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe.
Role: Coordinate the formulation, implementation and evaluation of gender-mainstreaming, inclusivity and wellness policies, strategies and programmes across the Ministry; build strategic partnerships with the Zimbabwe Gender Commission, line ministries and civil society; coordinate programmes on the welfare of persons with disabilities; and audit policies, procedures and systems to embed employee wellbeing and develop appropriate wellness programmes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Gender Studies, or a social-science degree with a bias in gender mainstreaming or equivalent.
- A relevant master's degree an added advantage.
- At least two (2) years' experience at Deputy Director level.
- Clear understanding of national development policies, priorities and goals.
- Well-developed communication and analytical skills; ability to use ICT in the design, deployment and monitoring of programmes.
