About the Role
WE ARE HIRING - IT INTERN
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees experiencing hardware or software issues.
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Install and update operating systems and business applications.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining local area networks (LANs) and internet connectivity.
- Assist in creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts.
- Monitor the performance of computer systems and servers.
- Support regular data backup procedures.
- Maintain records of IT equipment, software licenses, and technical issues.
- Assist in implementing basic cybersecurity measures.
- Help users understand basic IT systems and applications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Knowledge of computer systems and software.
- Knowledge of network and system security.
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
