Pharmacy Technician

We are hiring: Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our hospital pharmacy team. This role combines core pharmacy support duties with specialised responsibility for chemotherapy preparation in the Montagu section.

Requirements - The ideal person should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:

• 5 O' Levels including Mathematics and Science.
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or equivalent qualification recognised by the Pharmacists Council of Zimbabwe (PCZ).
• Valid registration and Practising Certificate with PCZ.
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy environment; experience in aseptic preparation, sterile compounding or cytotoxic handling is an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills and experience using pharmacy or stock management systems.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
• Good ethical conduct, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask and work under pressure in a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
