About the Role

Chicken House is looking for a dynamic, responsible and customer-focused Shift Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the outlet during their assigned shift, maintaining high service standards and leading the team to achieve operational and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff during the assigned shift.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle queries or complaints professionally.
- Monitor food preparation, quality, presentation and adherence to Chicken House standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Manage cash handling, daily till procedures and shift reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, wastage or variances.
- Ensure the outlet is clean, organised and ready for business at all times.
- Allocate duties and manage staff performance during the shift.
- Monitor sales and operational performance against targets.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate operational issues to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a fast-food or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Good numerical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Reliable, disciplined and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
